XBMC - Power status event

Guest deraaij

Question

Guest deraaij

Hi,

Just to share. I made an new virtual device with two buttons based on LUA and an autostart addon in xbmc. As a result XBMC will update a variable to 1 or 0 based on an event from xbmc is running. Based on the var you can run scene's (power on TV, receiver etc or the opposite)

On:

Please login or register to see this code.

Off:

Please login or register to see this code.

and a service addon in xbmc:

Please login or register to see this code.

To be able to use the buttons I still have to include an UDP magic packet and a json command for shutdown based on the new HTTP/UDP functionality (no using curl). Will update it as soon as I have the documentation.

Your welcome, I also found a workaround for waking the htpc:

Once do the following command via a scene:

Please login or register to see this code.

    After that you can do:

Please login or register to see this code.

(Change: 6c:f0:49:1a:61:3a to the correct MAC address, you could also use a variable)

Wakes up my HTPC like a charm

Thank you very much for the information.

I am very interested in starting my computer remotely, I have a problem with the Wol, the router of my ISP does not let the magic packet, if I can do it also with the Fibaro system would be wonderful.

Nothing that we have a stable version of the system I'll get to it again.

    Sorry for my English.
