Problems with scenes

Lauri

Question

Hi, I'm having trouble to get one scene to work correctly, maybe someone can help me?

I have aeonlabs 4-1 sensor in my bathroom and if I enter the room - light goes on. Now I tried to create a scene where light is turned off if I forgot it or smth...

I attached one version of this:

laevalgusti = light

Liikumisandur = motion sensor from 4-1 sensor

Idea was - IF ceiling light is ON and motion sensor has been safe for 60sec (no movement) then it will turn OFF the ceiling light.

I also tried same scene with small modifications - IF ceiling fan is ON for 60sec and motion sensor SAFE THEN turn OFF light..

No luck so far... If i manually run the scene it works - but it doesnt work automatically. I have checked "start with HC2" option and restarted HC2 - no change..

Any luck with this?

I am seeing the same problem with LUA in the beta as well.

I'm not sure if its relevant but my 4-1 sensor is running off a battery, not mains. However with the HC2 home page open, I can see it change from 0 to 1, so I assume the HC2 has the upto date value for the sensor. However it never seems to start the scene.

Anyone have any ideas?

For those that are having problems. I resolved my issue by adding a section under %%properties

This appears to link the scene execution to the value change on the motion sensor

  • I didn't get it working and decided to go back to stable version.

Can you explain what did you do exactly with %%properties?? I did'nt understand this at the moment.

Unfortunately I cant show you the exact code as I am at work, and the beta doesnt work with remote access yet ;o)

It seems putting something like :-

    %%properties

    39 value

at the top of the LUA script means that the scene is triggered when deviceId 39's value changes. In my case, deviceId 39 is the motion sensor.
