FGS221 Switch 2x1,5kW problems with S1 S2 input

Guest paogig

Question

Guest paogig

Hello,

I am using one FGS221 Switch 2x1,5kW to manage videogate.

The door bell button is connected to S1 input in order to let HC2 know if someone is ringing... O1 is connected to the bell and is configured to switch off after 1 sec.

Everything works fine but sometimes the switch doesn't work when the doorbell button is continuosly pressed for more than 1 (more or less) second.

As a result videogate in these cases doesn't work....

Do you know the reason for this strange behaviour? Ever faced this problem?

Thanks,

Paolo

  • Hi,

I'm no expert to start with... but is the binary switch the right solution for that?

Shouldn't you be using the binary sensor for that in stead, just wondering.

perhaps the parameter number 14 of the FGS221 can be a solution for you? It switches between mono-stable and bi-stable. Perhaps this will do the trick?

*again, I'm no expert, just thinking out loud*

I'm using the Door windows sensor this one is associated with the FGS221

I think the door window sensor is a better solution.

I have also a request running to add the Door/Windows sensor to the Videogate
