    Now the Axis part.

This is the command in de message field.

    /api/sceneControl?id=40&action=start

Http part is working fine Axis is confirming that it's okay.

Axis can upload the the HC2

Send HTTP notification to - This method sends notification messages to an HTTP notification server that listens for these. The destination server must first be configured on the Event Servers page. The available settings are:

Custom parameters - Add any extra parameters here. Spaces are not allowed in this field and all text must be URL-encoded (par RFC1738.) For example, to set the CGI parameter 'example' to 'Y & Z' enter example=Y+%26+Z in this field.

Litle OT, But is it possible to do the other...

    Trigger the CAM from HC2?

If I have Pan/tilt/zoom camera, can I then when I in HC2 get a trigger on the door device, zoom in to the door, and if a trigger on a window, move CAM and zoom in to that window.

be able to control a pan/tilt/zoom camera like this one:

    Or some other...

Nice to be able to do that!

And one other question, do HC2 have support for pan/tilt/zoom?

  • Depends on the camera control possibilities.

if you can control the pan/tilt via http you can do that.

Create a virtue device and enter the Ip adress of the camera

In the advanced settings enter the name of the location Like CamToWindow

    String to Send

is the command for turning the camera

    GET / HTTP/1.10x0D0x0A0x0D0x0A

you can enter more locations via add a button.

When ready just runs the scene that will trigger the virtual device button to position the the camera.

In Camera view you have pan/tilt buttons.
