It was with the light of the car. But devices who did that are no more compatible with HC2.

It was a:

- car pilot

- 4 channel expander

Is not the most secure method.

RFid tags or GPS is more usable.

Othere simple method is a ping to your smartphone. When detected by HC2 you can open the gate. One problem you have to wait about 60 minutes before the device is detected..

In Homeseer I did use Visonic door sensor.

    When devices become normal..

This means device is detected again and I'm close to my house

Ligts scene was run automaticly when dark.

It's still possible with a combination of Car remote:

and Expander 1K or 4K plus UBS as Z-Wave device.

    Hi,

First of all, for such functionality you will need three devices:

    1) Car light RF remote controller

    2) RF Expander (RF receiver)

    3) Fibaro module

First two devices are not Z-WAVE, but only RF 433 MHz. RF Expander is controlling our module (for switching S1 input by 24VDC). Both devices (Car light controller and RF Expander) are selled in Poland to our partners. Usually we do not offer them to our foreign partners because we are not producer of this devices.

    This is how it works:

    1) Car RF Remote controller is connected to 12VDC Car light circuit, and it is controlled by turning on the long lights (for example 2-time click)

    2) Car RF Remote sends this information to RF Receiver, which is RF Expander. RF Expander is RF Receiver with relays that can be controller from RF433MHz. This relay controlls 24VDC circuit.

    3) This 24VDC Circuit controlls our relay modules which can control gate motor.

  • not with that good range but this works also

1.conenct universal binary sensor to relay that connects to cars high beam lights

2.install relay switch or roller shutter by the gate

3.configure scene activation so 2 clicks trigger the relay or roller shutter
