Delay in scene

Guest Lode

Question

Guest Lode

Hi,

I made a simple scene to turn a lamp on for one minute when a sensor (Fibaro universal binary sensor) is breached.

It works but after the sensor is breached it takes about 40 seconds before the lamp turns on.

I can't see what is wrong ....

  • Not sure if it's the lua code, but I have the same with my push messages and e-mails for a "breached and armed" situation on my door sensors.

    I think there's something wrong in the underlying code. Perhaps the Fibaro Devs know?

  • I'm sorry but it doens't work ????

    In my scene in think the delay is caused by the fibaro:sleep(60*1000);

    When the scene is activated and Fibaro is in the middle of that sleeptime your command will not be executed until it comes out of sleep.

    Correct, due to the time constaint it has an unnecessary loop. But the only works when it is triggerden by device 22 and it is after 23:01.

    Oops......

    While i was testing this, the sensor was already breached.

    So to get the scene running the status of the sensor has to change from not breached to breached......makes sense of course, but i didn't know that.

    Thx for helping me out Mark.
