Dim level without turning on

TANE

Question

I like to set the dimlevel of the kids room light after 21:00h to 30% without turning on the lights at that time.

When the lights turned on later so that it will start with 30%

In the morning set them back to 100%.

any tips?

As far as I've seen it's not possible from lua code to "reconfigure" the device parameters.

Perhaps A.Socha has a trick up his sleeve?

  • In the past I had a vb script.

When the lights turned on between 21:00 - 06:00 hours they will be dimmed only once.

With HC2 I have a build a scene to do this.

Problem is HC2 will repeat the scene and will set the light also back to 30% when set manually brighter.

I also mis the option between 21:00-06:00 h in HC2

    Or something after and before

    I did this:

create a variable - night light - If light is low (below 20%) then turn variable to 1 otherwise 0

create a variable - called night time. If time is 21:00 - 07:00 then variable is 1 otherwise 0

created a scene - IF night time = 1 and night light = 1 and light is turned on, then dim lights to 30% and turn variable night time to 0

It should be easy to do with lua, but i do not know how.
