How to request http within scenes

vellanix

Question

Hello all!

I would like to make a scene that:

Door Sensor = open

then

Please login or register to see this link.

It's possible to do that in scenes? And how?

Again, it's possible to setup a virtual device with one button that invoque the http?

I tried with virtual devices but without success.

Maybe because I didnt know the IP address but only the name of the web server?

Thank you

carlo.vellano@g, you can inspire you from this code

Please login or register to see this link.

that I've done here for this user.

Todo: Create a new virtual device, add new button in LUA mode and copy the code, replace with your domaine, after in the interface when you click on the virtual device button, the www.xxx.xx/xxx.php is called

/emoticons/default_icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":-D" /> you can parse the response if want after etc. etc.

you cannot make http request directly in scene, is not supported at this time, you must use virtual device for that. Perhaps in next update !

good luck and happy LUA coding
