Hello!
I am currently working on an external UI for the HomeCenter. To retrieve the information from the hc I am using polling technique (get information from the homecenter every x seconds). However I don't find this technique to be suitable as it consumes unnecessarily much resources.
Instead I am looking to send a http-packet whenever there has been a change to the system state (eg. light off) that will then tell my UI that its time to update the data from the gateway. It should be more reliable, less consuming and faster. Does anyone have a clue on how I could send a http-packet whenever there is a change in the system state?
Thanks in advance,
ComputerScience
