Variables script combine

I was thinnking to make a variables script that runs every minute and checks variables so that I do not have to use several scripts for just variablescheck. Now I want to add some state checking for tv and projector just like for the Homecheck. Can I combine projector and homecheck in the same loop to make it a bit faster and not to queue up to many executions because of sleeps?
