How to know if a module is turned on locally or remotely ?

ardillon

Question

Hi !

In LUA, is there a way to know if a module has been turned on (or off) locally from its own wired switch or remotely from a Z-Wave command (associated module/sensor or HC2 command) ?

I have a garden light that is switched on and off according to a LUA script (PIR sensor + sunlight sensor + delay management), but I would like to override the script when I manually activate the switch which is wired to the FGS211 module that powers the garden light.

Thanks

you can use a global variable and use the variable in your scene. Manually switch with the FGS221 can start a scene (set the variable -> ex: 1 = start manually / 0 = start by PIR / 2 = .... )

Yes, I thought doing so, but I also have 2 other FGS211 modules that are directly associated to this garden light module through their S2 switches. And it would mean removing the direct z-wave association and use new scenes, as I only want 1 switch to bypass the "automated" behavior ...

Too bad that it is not possible to read back the status of the wired switch in addition to the status of the relay.

I think that I will have to use an unused S2 switch from one of my already installed modules to trigger a scene that will bypass the garden light scenes.
