Question
Guest azevenhuizen
Good day all,
I have some trouble with our newly installed Secure HRT4 thermostat.
Every now and then the heating system has an overshoot of appr 4-5 degrees.
This means setpoint of 20 degrees whil result in 24 degrees in the living room.
I installed the system using the walkabout from vesternet:

From the log panel I can see something funny that worries me. Please also see attached images for details.
- At first the setpoint changes in the morning at 6:15.
- After a few seconds the relay becomes active and the central heating system will start.
- Every 5 minutes the relay switches on and of. I assume this is the TPI regulation.
- Then at 7:25 the relay switches on again, but after that it will not switch of for almost an hour. Most likely this will cause the overshoot in tempreature.
It looks like the TPI is working in an oposite direction. Normally the heating will start for a longer period of time and will then go to a quicker on/off patern while it reaches setpoint.
Any of you have seen this behaviour or have any directions in trouble shooting?
Thanks and regards,
Arno
