The siren is able to sound different sounds for different scenarios. But the whole device is not supported by the HC yet... It is a very nice looking device. Really a standard consumer like device.

Does anyone have an idea on how you can control the device by lua? The device is included as a standard switch. But switching it does not do anything..

Switch it on and it will sound the siren/alarm. Installed and tested ok, but only support of basic control (on off one alarm at this time)

No luck in the Beta version... Can someone confirm this? Or is it a problem with this Siren...? Also it will not be triggered directly by a smoke sensor. I want to associate the smoke sensor with the siren.

New aeotec Z-Wave Siren Tested with firmware 4.022 HC2 same result as on 3.590 & 4.020. Just on / off.

The aeotec Z-Wave Siren had a nice build quality and is a great supplement to HC2. But would be great ta have all the functions.

Any one managed to get it working with more functions.

How do you even get it to include correctly? I do see the on off switch. But when I press it, it says "send oke" but nothing happens... No sound at all.

I had to include it and then remove it and the second time I aded it it worked. As on /off.

Have tried to change the parameters as MrMxyzptlk explained but not getting it to work 100% yet.

If this is a battery operated device you will need to 'wake it up' to have the updated parameters sent. I don't even know if you can do manual parameters, but I'm just trying to be helpful...

It is a wall plug powered from the grid as you can see in the link of the first post. I got two myself running in two different Z-wave networks with HC2 v3.590. But only basic on/off so far
