Question

Is the Zipato ZipaBox RFID Keypad fully supported?

A hardware compability list would be nice to have.

Probably buy one or two in order to get descent alarm functions

I've been lokking at that keypad and compatibility guide, too. Not quite sure what they mean by "No way to add PIN numbers", though. I would not need to add PIN numbers, but I would need to have a PIN, and use more than one keytag.

    Anyone tried it?

We have not tested such device and therefore can nor assure you it works with. I will try to get such device for tests but it will be a while until we integrate it.

That would be very useful as it'll help position Fibaro as a serious alternative to a separate user-friendly alarm system. I'm relatively new here but from what I'm reading in the forums it sounds like it might take a long time before new devices are supported but I hope this one finds it's way into the next major update...

    I appreciate your efforts!

    Edit:

These also sell as BeNext Tag reader, and look identical, I believe. Thus, they do not seem to be made for Zipato, but are more 'generic z-wave'. Good news for us, I should think.

Could anyone confirm if this works under v4.x please?

I know that some new command classes/devices are supported under v4.

    Thanks.

I hope Fibaro are looking into supporting this in the future - it looks like a promising device.
