AEON MODULE CANNOT BE ADDED FAR FROM THE HOME CENTER

Question

Posted

Dear Fibaro Developer, I know that you are overwhelmed by trying to give a very stable release, I have stated this issue more than 3 months now.

I'm unable to add AEON Module when there are far away from the HC2, I have added a ZWAVE EXTENDER and even with it is not working which means it is coming from this incredible 4.030 which should be a stable one.

When I bring my modules next to the HomeCenter everything is fine and the modules can be acquired but then they are not working when I put them far away (7m)

Could you please try to resolve this MAJOR problem, all my AEON Module are not working anymore. Everything was fine with 3.5x

thank you for your support

UPDATE:

I have tried something

ADDING the modules just nearby the Homecenter then plugging them away from it.

If I do that it can be added but when they are far away from the Homecenter I have a HUuuuUUUUUUUuuuuUUUUUuUUUuUUUUUUUUUUUUge latency and something DEAD NODE ....

PLEEEEAASSE HELP ME !

every adding and removing device must be in direct range of Home Center (that same was working on 3.x)

Yes we saw that too that Aeon device need a longer time to response when we asking and sometimes dont answer and HC mark him as a dead. We will try to do something with it (longer delay for Aeon device)

Its true. I have to include it nearby the HC2 and to wait about 2 Minutes before it is finished.

Then all was ok !

Yes this is what I have however the delay is incredible long !!

It was correctly working in 3.X why don't you just use the same tricks that have managed to get it working

You can chose "Do not mark as dead" to avoid Dead Node.
