Z-Wave SwiidInter Cord Switch - No Templates

Question

Hi,

I bought one of these yesterday:

Please login or register to see this link.

.

The device works as intended, BUT my system thinks otherwise, see attached images.

I've tried to remove/readd/reconfigure - no difference. HC2 has been restarted.I've tried to add parameters manually, but that doesn't work either.

You can find the parameters here:

You don't seem to support any manufacturer info either. This is NOT good, Fibaro. Don't show me any error messages, when I can't do anything, not even manually.

Please implement support for Z-Wave SwiidInter Cord Switch in your next hotfix. I'm using v 4.033 at the moment.

The both are known problems here also.

But, do not stay on pessimistic side, some recommendation for Fibaro:

  • The best solution - to add templates for other than Fibaro devices. But, this may take time and even may-be to be impossible for all devices in the world, so:
  • Allow users to build (and share) custom templates - not so good, as it looks. If there are errors in templates, who is responsible?
  • Quick&Dirty - add a flag "ignore missing template alarm" into general properties. Dirty, because lefts the device without correct template, but at least allows the end-user to concentrate to more critical errors in working system. Quick - i think, when to take it into list, then doable also within next update
