how to use variable with scenes

chinastar89

Question

Hi

i wanna set a scenes which function is when i first trigger motion sensor and then turn of the light , also when i 2nd trigger motion sensor and then turn off the light , so i use variables with the scenes as attached file . (i already set the variable "movie " as default 0 )

But When i run the scenes at first time , the light always flashing and never stop , how should i use the variable or any command ?

Here i describe the scenes as below

1. when motion sensor is breached and  variable "movie " = 0 ,then turn on the light and also change the variable "movie" =1

2. when motion sensor is breached and variable "movie " =1 , then turn off the light and also change the variable "movie" into 0 .

what i want is how to use variable with 1 scenes ? Please help me to figure out what fault did i do ?

Your sensor does not "stay triggered". It will see you moving and trigger the scene for every movement after whatever block-time the motion sensor has (usually a few seconds)

I assume that the motion sensor in in your TV room? In that case, you need to rethink your logic.
