Help to configure scenes on Octan NoDON

gusqua

Question

Hi

Someone has set up this r. control on a HC2? I do not understand how to add scenes to each type of push button.

I have included the R control within the controller and I've changed the parameter 3 to value 1. But, how the 16 scenes for each type of push button should be linked?

Thank you

Here is a link to a translation of a french article on setup of the NodOn switches on Fibaro HC2:

Please login or register to see this link.

There are totally 16 possible scenes that can be activated with each of these switches. In practical use it is 12.

    ok goes something like this: (i am assuming you have at least figured out how to include/exclude devices... & have read the manual/ guide that comes along with the controller)

    1. exclude the device (i always do it with new devices before including them in my network, just in case they were previously in a network)
    2. include the device in "gateway mode" as they refer to it in the manual - pretty straight forward
    3. go to the device in the HC2/HCL devices tab, click on the wrench
    4. click the advanced tab, scroll to the bottom where it says "add parameter"
    5. add these:Number                           Data Type                Desired Value

                       1                                      1d                          0

                       2                                      1d                          0

                       3                                      1d                          1

    6. now go to the scenes panel in the Fibaro GUI and create a scene associated with the button that you want to turn on and off the plug with. (the button numbers are clearly listed on the manual that came with the remote)

                Button 1 is 10, for the green box-after scene activation

                Button 2 is 20

                Button 3 is 30

                Button 4 is 40

    *my suggestion for you, just to test it, is like so:*

                         triggering device "whatever you called your switch" == Scene activation 10

                         then

                         wall plug "whatever you called it" = Opposite State

    This will make button 1, turn the plug on & off with the same button. i.e.- click = on. click again = off.

    hope it helps.

    Have anyone tried to use the new sceens?

    Can't get it to work,

    --[[
    %% properties
    %% events
    100 CentralSceneEvent 1 Pressed
    %% globals
    --]]

    local startSource = fibaro:getSourceTrigger();
    if (
     ( true )
    or
    startSource["type"] == "other"
    )
    then
    local deviceValue1 = tonumber(fibaro:getValue(36, "value"));
    if (deviceValue1 > 0) then
    fibaro:call(36, "turnOff");
    else
    fibaro:call(36, "turnOn");
    end
    end

    Do I still need to mess with the parameters on the device?

    Sincerely
    HC2 Newbie..
