Increase range for Fibaro door sensor

Is there a way to increase the range of a Fibaro door sensor?

Other z-wave (non-battery) devices re-transmit signals, but not battery operated devices?

I'd like to monitor my garage door, but it's too far away.

I agree with morpheus75. But you can always try this first. Bring the sensor as close to the door as possible (verify open-close in GUI). Then go to configuration, Z-Wave network and then select the device under "Mesh network reconfiguration:". Click "reconfigure". Make sure the sensor is closed and triple click the back (outside) tamper switch to wake up the device. Observe the status window. If that doesn't help and you have never done an "Entire Z-Wave network" then try that too. Again, observe the status window, you'll see your mains powered devices pass, and battery devices fail. Either wake them up manually or wait until all have had their wake up interval passed.
