    Ok, thanks!

I would like to "secure" my domotique installation... I would like to be sure that even if a energy failure, my HC2 and battery devices (door/windows sensor, motions sensor,...) still work and are able to push me message and emails in case of violation...
Is a UPS a good way?

I think that only the battery devices directly connected to the HC2 (not in bridge mesh) will be able to send the status notification in case of energy failure... is it right?

I use a ups and a mobile modem as a failover - you do need secure both com and power to the whole chain

Thanks 1152, that's true... I have an Asus router with USB ports useful for USB modem too to use in case of DSL connection problems. I will looking for also for USB modem.

Is there a way to integrate an UPS into HC2?
I mean,  It should be useful to know if there is an energy failure, the battery charging status and the last message before also UPS go down.

I was looking for an APC Smart-UPS C 1000VA to connect: HC2, modem, router and Synology NAS.

Just put a SW with Power Metering feature and different load power supply (DPLS) in front of the UPS. (SW powered by the UPS - and DPLS powering UPS). Unless you have a UPS that already provides the info/feature. Several ways here leading to Rome

Hi 1152, just to understand your solution...

As SW do you mean software or other?

As different load power supply what do you mean?

Can you describe better your solution? ...I'm not too tech guy...

Do you know UPS (brand and model) that already provides the info/feature that you describe?

    Thanks again!
