dead nodes

Mib

Question

I have a problem with dead nodes. They follow me through every software version. Now I run on 4.058 Beta.

I tried the mesh network reconfiguration. I get tihs result:

[09:00:50] 476: Requesting neighbor list from the node is in progress
[09:01:10] 476: Getting new neighbor list failed

So what does it tell me? What can I do to solve this prob?

Thanks

MIB

  • I can only say that since I got rid of all of my 7 motion sensors I had no dead nodes anymore.

Right now I play around with 3 motion sensors and the settings of parameters as user

     suggested.

But motion sensors are a real headache. I was told by someone who works with Fibaro home automation professionally that they do not use these motion sensors.

Well, I do work with Fibaro professionally and I can tell you, that they do sell and they are good in most cases with no issues at all. And there is no relevant alternative for them (tested Everspring, Aeon both generations...). Of corse, as I said, most cases, but there is no device without issues.

  • They look good. Have many features.

I was told to use normal ones. Not so much traffic in the network.
