Synchronization state for three relays

Hi, all.

I have quite stupid question, but anyway want to hear your thoughts about it.

Sometimes we use Vitrum switches:

And we have to control one light source from different places.

Current task:

1) 3 single channel switches.

2) They should work equally. If we turnOn first, after it second and third should turnOn.

3) So state should be always the same, no matter we control them phisically or from Fibaro UI.

Could you please share your thoughts? What will be the best solution?

Association?

1 -> 2,3

2 -> 1,2

3 -> 1,3

LUA code

which allows to catch click event and turn on / off needed devices?

As far as i know grp 3 is for the hc(controller) and grp 5 for controller for zwave plus devices.

  • Sorry, but I didn't undestand what do you mean.

    Group 3 is used for reporting current state. How should I use it?

    I tried two approaches:

    1) Used only LUA - when any of devices changed it's state after it script changes states of other devices. This approach doesn't work, because in some cases two of devices tried to turnOn/Off each other infinitely.

    2) Used associations, but vitrum devices don't sent it's state to controller. I need to poll devices every 5 seconds in order to update current state..

    So my question. Do you face with such situations? Have you ever need to connect 2 devices, and make sure they have same state in any situation?

    just quickly tried this and it seemed to work with 3 dimmers.

    Please login or register to see this code.

    I guess to stop the flashing you just need to ensure the lights have changed state before allowing another instance of the scene to run
