Hikvision Send Screens

Hi,

 

I'm having trouble getting my fibaro to send my hikvision screen shots to my email address. My foscam works fine, but the 3 Hikvisions dont. When I press the "snapshot" bottom, nothing happens.

 

I know my mpeg and jpeg settings are correct because when I set the device to refresh every 3 screens on the home page, it works fine. I've tested this to make sure it's using the jpeg path and it is.

 

Any thoughts?

 

I'm using the new Hikvisions 2142 4MP cameras.

i think that the Hikvision is Onvif type and MPJPEG

Correct, I've set the second stream to mpeg.. It streams fine in the HC2 Home Screen.. Just doesn't send screens.

where 156 is ID of my hikvision ds-2cd2432f-iw.

For additional information my stream paths are:

jpg = Streaming/channels/1/picture

mjpg = Streaming/channels/1/httppreview

I think you've put me on the right track! I've just realised my Hikvision IP cams DO NOT have a device ID. Is this even possible? I've added them via the Hikvision Plugin - maybe this has done something silly. Whereas my Foscam works fine and it DOES havea Device ID.

Ok, still doesn't work. I've added the camera manually, quickly created a virtual device with a send screen button and still nothing. When I change the device ID to that of the FOSCAMs it works fine. 

 

Does it work for you? I have DS-2CD2142FWD-IS cameras and a old "crappy" foscam.

Which model of Foscam is working for you? I have the FI9903IP but they just work a short time and then are gone.....

Does it work for you? 

My settings work well for a long time with DS-2CD2432F-IW. I can send a picture from a button on the camera and with the help of the Lua code, which I gave earlier, in my various virtual devices related to security actions. Try to recreate the camera manually and use below settings. And do not use a native plugin.

Could you be more specific on what you mean by "where 2 is admin"

Every user has an ID. The default user is admin. Admin ID is set at 2.

If yiu wanted to send to another user then u need to work out there ID and replace the number 2 with their ID. These users would have been created in the access control panel where you would have specified an email address.

I've found that when you use the Hikvision PlugIn - it doesn't give your camera a device ID.
