How to get the HEOS plugin to work

Hi,

 

I have several different HEOS speakers and want to use my Fibaro system (Home Center 2) to control them in scenes.  I have installed the plugin and all it does is show me which speakers are connected.  What do I do next?

how far did you get? 

 

When you add the device and press "syncronize" your speakers will show up as new unassigned devices. From them you should be able to play/pause change volume etc.

Hi Martin!  Yes - that works but I want to implement Heos into a scene.

I was playing with HEOS 3 speaker and this plugin for two weeks. At the end I also made VD with commands for Play, Stop, volume, check players and to show what is currently playing. But whatever I do it was working only for several hours and then nothing! Even I was getting 'success' as an answer from HEOS after sending command it just didn't want to listen and follow. I try even with sending HEOS system heart beat every half hour and still didn't help.

 

I called shop where I brought it and I'm replacing it for SONOS speaker. I am really fed up with this. No more HEOS! Maybe it would work with old firmware but I was compelled by original app to upgrade to the latest firmware.
