Scenes will not run after alarm is breached

TurboWannaBe

Question

Hello,

If I arm my sensors and they are breached, Scenes will not work afterwards?

Example: Alarm breached at 14:00 and disarmed afterwards - Lights running on simple after sunset scene will not run e.g at 21:00 HRS.

Why is that?

In the general tab of your scene you can enable:

"Do not allow alarm to stop scene while alarm is running"

I believe it is a good practice to have only one scene running all the time and taking care of time events and then calling other scenes, activating VDs or changing global variables. Then only this scene must have ticked that option "Do not allow alarm to stop scene while alarm is running".

VD main loop could do the same trick but since there is a bug which causes that main loop to stop running after some time it is not the best solution. Scene on other hand on my HC2 is running for months now and system is very stable and responsive.
