AC Panel

chubbyyz

Question

Now that the weather is getting warm in this part of the world, I am trying to get the "AC Panel" configured, but I cannot get it to work.

During winter, I configured the "Heating Panel" and it worked perfectly. So I followed the same steps to configure the "AC Panel":

  1. Create a Zone
  2. Add the room where the thermostat and temp sensor is
  3. Edit the schedule
  4. Save

...but the panel never changes the temperature in the thermostat at the expected times of the day, so it never triggers the air conditioning to turn ON.

I also tried forcing the air conditioning to turn on by using the Holiday mode and the Manual mode, but nothing happens on the thermostat.

However, I can manually set the temperature from the "Devices" screen on the HC2, and when I do it this way the thermostat receives the data and it turns on the air conditioner, so I know that the thermostat is configured properly, so either I am missing a step or the AC Panel is not working.

Has anyone been able to get the AC Panel to work?

My HC2 system is running version 4.082

My thermostat is Honeywell TH8320ZW

Hello,

I would like to reach the same. I have bought AC controller from Remotec, I see all controls in devices but I am getting notification from HC2 that device doesnt have an template. That obviously mean that is not fully supported by fibaro (even I see all icons for termostat, ac mode, ac fan). Is there any other device available which is supported?

Thanks.

Which version of fibaro do you have, because I am in 4.082 and I have a template and work almost perfect.

  • Hi Shad,

So, is the "AC Panel" working for you?

In my case, my thermostat works fine. Also, the "Heating Panel" works fine. But the "AC panel" seems to do nothing at all.

Because of it, I ended up creating some "scenes" to change the temperatures at different times of the day on different days of the week.

My HC2 system is running version 4.082
