Recommended Posts

Yes, when saved it is again correct now.... But it happens randomly after few days... Would be good to handle it somehow :)

    Hello everybody,

it is possible to play an MP3 file from a NAS (Synology). There is indeed the clip command, but this refers only to the folder

    Thanks for your help Beijonig

  • Hi,

I added to the previous VD code code to track more states of the Sonos including if the player is offline / online

The code below is for one player - repeater as many times as you have zones

It uses a statetable global to track changing states and smart message hub to send messages (one message when it goes offline an done message when it comes back online) - adjust as you need

Please login or register to see this code.

    and the result is

The previous code didn't handle if a player went offline

This one should work better with messages at appropriate times

In case of installing on PI3 with other Linux platform (OSMC, Raspbian etc.), please following:

    1) update Node.js to the last version (if you have below 4.0 - you can check it by command: node -v)

Please login or register to see this code.

    2) install git repo

Please login or register to see this code.

    3) clone the git from

    4) go to repo catalogue

    5) install npm

Please login or register to see this code.

    6) run npn

That's all. Now you will be able to use node-sonos-http-api

    Hi,

Is it possible to send "Night audio" On/Off command from Fibaro?

I would like to set Night audio after 20:00 and turn it Off 8:00.

    Anyone tried this?

@BezanI created a toggle button for my VD to switch Night Mode. Here is my code:

Please login or register to see this code.

To switch on or off at certain times, you can either create separate VD buttons for ON and OFF and call these from a scene, or you could call the HTTP command directly from a scene.

Hi @sjekke, You'll have to manually update.

Just check the github once in a while ;)

In github you can put a “watch” on a repository. You will then get update notifications should anything change.

On the Raspberry it works wonderfully. Now I want to install it on the Synology. Does anyone have a guide?
