Connecting Fibaro Binary Sensor to Paradox PIR

Stephan Smit

Recommended Posts

Need some assistance to wire Paradox DG75 PIR to Fibaro Binary Sensor.

Have made a rough sketch of how I think it should be connected but not sure.

PIR currently connected as follow

Black - Negative

Red - Positive

Yellow - Tamper

Green - N/C

Diode connected between N/O and Tamper(yellow)

Thanks

picture 2 says it all, what is it you don't understand? red and black from the alarmpanel can also be a 12 volt power supply

and you need the common, as ytou can see on the picture

  • The picture in link have 6 connections and my PIR 7

NO, NC, Comm, +, - , Tamper, Tamper

To power the Binary should I use + & - from PIR? Above you said Gnd on Common.

Is the Gnd on Binary where "-" should be connected or comm?

I understand you said connect In at No, but then there is still the Tamper(yellow wire) that has not been connected?

Picture in link indicate a jump between 0V, Alarm/Relay & Tamper.

Do I also need this jump?

Attached a file, will appreciated if you can indicate on the diagram.

    Thanks

to power the ubs you can use + and - from pir (that's 12 volt)

    then

the ubs blue wire to com and if you want to use tamper (i don't know why?) also the same blue wire to one side of the tamper connection

then in1 to no and in2 to the other connecton of tamper

    that's it

in stead of use in2 for tamper, i would use in2 for another pir or doorcontact

I am lost with the ATZ wiring that Paradox systems have, we have got an EVO192, that has ATZ meaning each zone is doubled and supports two sensors on each port, that is achieved by using resistors as in the picture.
The question is, how am I supposed to wire the universal binary sensor in this situation?
