Is it possible to control an RGB led strip AND use the IN4 for sensor reading such as a temperature measurement?

Please login or register to see this link.

is a little sketchy (to me) on what exactly can't be done with the controller when you don't use the INputs for switches to control the RGB.

Hello,

Yes, it should be possible but you will not be able to control the LED strip as a unit. You will get 3 separate "devices" that you can control lights with.

Do you mean I wont be able to turn it on/off/colour change through the web UI ?

I have no physical switches connected to the RGBW controller.

You can set RGBW module to imput/output mode.

This way you can connect 1 temperature sensor and use other 3 pins as outputs - in interface you will be able to control each output individually (shown as Dimmers in web UI).
