Fibaro motion sensor

Phil1789

Question

Hello everyone,

I am new to the Fibaro community, being French please forgive my English and all the mistakes it may contain!!!

I purchased a motion sensor, which I added to my home center 2, everything seemed to work except tha the lux and temp sensors show 0 lux 0° (see attached document). I removed the module and reinstalled it but Nothing does it.

Does someone have an idea of what to do?

Thank you for your help

Phil

Next time after inclusion just try to wake it up by pressing B button on sensor three times. Similar thing happened to me several times before that after inclusion temperature reading was 0'C but after waking up sensor correct temperature was shown. This started to happen after upgrading to FW 4.080.

    Three things to check:

    • Association Group(s) with HC2/HCL
    • Manual Wake-up (after inclusion, triple clicks of B-button as Sankotronic shared)
    • Log on the dashboard (top black window box) during inclusion or manual wake-up

See if there is any abnormality. By the way, you did not mention which software version is your HC2 running on, and whether the Fibaro Motion Sensor is the 1st gen (FGMS001, Z-wave) or 2nd gen (FGMS001v2, Z-wave Plus).
