@fibaro:

is it possible in the (near) future for a status page?

just a simple page, showing all devices with connection type (zwave or zwave+) and most of all the neigbours per device, not by name but just how many

Would be good to debug devices if we can see the list of connections and their neighbours (inc device ID's if possible). I'm currently having issues with my NorthQ energy monitor, sometimes updates, sometimes not. I think its a mesh network issue, but no way I can see easily to see if it is using my powered socket as a repeater or connecting direct to the HC2.

Go to Configuration tab, Z-wave network and find Mesh network reconfiguration. There is drop down list and select device that is between HC and NorthQ energy monitor, you mention power socket, and then click on button Reconfigure. After that do the same with power meter.

It helped me with some relays that are on distance from HC and also with some battery powered sensors (they need to wakeup to do reconfiguration). After I did this with some of the devices that are not able to communicate directly with HC, network response is much faster and I didn't had any dead devices now already for sometime.

It would be nice to have any kind of z-wave diagnostic available, but on the other hand, knowing z-wave network characteristics and how it operates, we can still do some steps to make it more reliable.

    Thanks Sankotronic. I did do the reconfigure on the mesh nodes previously, and it did seem to work, but would be nice to have evidence that they are going via one another. I saw the device ID in the log say it had refreshed neighbours so have some confidence it did what its meant to, but it appeared to be working before then stopped before, so only time will tell.

    I think the issue this time was my wife put our ironing board in front of the socket and it created enough of a Faraday cage to kill the connection!
