Difference between Relais/Relay Switch (FGS-221) and Switch (FIBEFGS-213)?

Hi,

I'm confused by the Fibaro Options: There's a Relais (also called Relay Switch) FGS-221) and a Switch (FIBEFGS-213). What's the difference? The only thing I figured out is that the more expensive Switch actually does measure the energy consumption.

Can anyone clarify?

FGS-213 or Switch 2 is an update on previous relay switch, but there are some major differences between the two. The new version can, as you noticed, measure power consumption of connected sources and can only output 230 V as a switch (wall plug, lamp switch...). Also, the total possible load is a bit lower than the relay switch (FGS-221). The older Relay Switch FGS-221 is able to switch output which you would provide on its terminals up to 230 V (12 V, 24 V...) and can also be used for switching dry contact (no power - eg, to be used as a remote momentary switch). Hope this helps a bit.

Hello ,

So how can we control the sprinkles? ....most of the electro-valves that are used for sprinkles are working on 24V...

And this is just an ex.... I use Relays for too much things on 12 and 24 V.
