Motion Sensor's Temperature Sensor wrong mesurement

kalmanv

Question

Hello,

Im using my motion sensors thermometer to mesure the temperature. I put in a colder place for a night and I also put normal thermometer and fibaro was mesuring ~+2-3C more than the normal meter, and the normal one seems to right.

Sensor is mesuring every 15mins and reporting every 30 mins.

Any ideas of that?

Thanks.

Hi
My experience is that it measures very accurate, I have 4 pieces.
Have you checked below. Default is 1 degree.

Are they at the same height? In my living room, at the moment, it's 22,0 °C at "table level" and 23,0 °C at about 10 cm below the ceiling.

Hello community,

I'm relatively new to the Zwave and Fibaro world. I'm using a Rasperyy Pi 3 with the Razberry modul and the ZwaveMe UI.

I've included the 4in1 motion sensor about 2 weeks ago but hadn't the time to set it up properly for my alarm system.

A few days ago I noticed that the temperature is far below reality: it's -82,4°C.

I'm living in Germany and, yeah maybe it was that cold during the ice age, but ..

I woke it up, put it in other rooms, placed my hand over the sensor but the temperature stays below zero.

Is anyone here willing to help me get this set up properly?

Thank you very much in advance,

all the best,

hannibal
