Fibaro Dimmer 2 - 2 way switches

Eddybeegy

Question

Hi all,

can anyone help please? I'm trying to fit a Fibaro Dimmer 2 to my Landing Light. There are 2 switches - one upstairs & one downstairs. These are 2 Gang/2 Way switches which control both the hallway and landing lights. They are wired up as shown in the Diagram attached. I've tried a number of combinations to get the dimmer working without any luck. Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Ed.

Electrical work yes? No offense, call an electrician... There's a reason why you need a license to work safely on this stuff.

The diagram doesn't detail enough wiring information.

My guess is you don't have a neutral at your switches and you aren't changing the switch mechs to bell press (momentary). From the install manual, the Fibaro dimmer can be wired without a neutral.

As @robmac said in another post where you asked the same question, you don't have enough cores to use regular latching switch mechs. (And they are terrible installed on a dimmer anyway)

But seriously, call an electrician. ;)
