Question

Posted (edited)

Hi

I have got two smokesensors and I want to have them connected. So I one sensor starts then the other should also start. If there's a fire I want both to sound the alarm.

Is that possible and how do I do?

Another question, I don't understand the two devices after pairing. What's the difference betweeen the one with smoe sensor Icon and the one with Alarmlamp and thermometer?

Thanks!

you're first question:

no you can not, it's a non listening device, so it won't listen

it will contact the controller now and then if there is something new to tell, but that's it

only if the device detects smoke it will contact the controller right away

Hello,

I far as I know you can not make both of them sound the alarm.

Alarm Lamp and thermometer is a temperaturalarm e,g. if the temperature rises above 60 degree celsius (standard value if I remember correctly this can be changed) you will get at temperature alarm.

Smoke sensor Icon is the smoke detector itself.

So the smoke sensor will provide you with smoke alarm and temperature alarm.

BUT You have to build scenes to get notifications about fire:( and you can't use the fire alarm as an alarm that is activated through a scene.
