[HomeKit-Version] Can the LEDs of the Motion Sensor be deactivated?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

can the LEDs of the HomeKit-Version of the Fibaro Motion Sensor be deactivated? Unfortunately I did not found an option for that in the Fibaro-HomeKit-App nor in an other HomeKit-App.

Hope you can help me.

in homekit app, there should be option to change parameters, you should be able to select

 0 – LED indications disabled

1 – color dependent on temperature (this is by default on)

2 – flashlight mode

3 – white

4 – red

5 – green

6 – blue

7 – yellow

8 – cyan

9 – magenta

  • Thanks tinman, but there is no option in the Fibaro-HomeKit-App to change the parameters. In the myHome-App by Jörg Wissemann I find an option "Parameter_index" (values from 0 - 5) and "Parameter_value" (values from 1 - 32767). But changing these values does not have any effect to the LED.

I also cannot deactivate tampering function nor can I configure the sensor radius where motion will be detected.

    Hi,

Is there still no news on how to change the parameters for the motion sensor?

I just looked at the site Fibaro links to, and sell the HomeKit enabled device, and it really says:

"Adjust the sensitivity of the sensor".

Where in the Fibaro HomeKit app?

And what does the parameters do mention in the post above mine?

    Hi Hansa,

unfortunately there is still no news on how to change the parameters for the motion sensor. It looks like we still have to be patient for an update. The Fibaro support already has confirmed that there are currently some features missing in the HomeKit-version of the sensor. But there is currently no information if and when the missing features will be added by the responsible developer team at Fibaro. They apologized and referred to the fact that HomeKit is a new standard and that it will take some time to make it more user-friendly.

    Hi Luke,

Thanks for the update on the subject.

Do you know anything of the other parameters that can be accessed with the aforementioned app "myHome"
