Fibaro For Tablet - Support Android 13.3" devices

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have bought two tablets with 13.3 inch screen to act as wallpanels in my fibaro home. Unfortunately the fibaro for tablet app only supports 7 and 10 inch devices. Is it a big task to make it support 13.3 inch?

Crossing my fingers here so I don´t have to look for third party apps.

The resolution for the tablets are 1920x1080.

Got it solved! A big thanks to the Fibaro support team!

Just curious as to what the solution was @GustavB?

Cheers.

I tried both, download APK from android.fibaro.com and from playstore too.. and result is unsuported resolution, even I bought 7 inch tablet with resolution 1280x720. I I'm really sad.  I have bought Fibaro to save my time (previously playing with Raspi, various Openhab etc.). Feel that Fibaro has more problems than opensource things, not only on this... Any advice how to get this work, before I throw whole Fibaro?

Found solution (not ideal but Fibaro for Tablet is running):

Tablet 1280x720

* Downloaded ADB tools for windows

* Switched tablet to Developer Mode & Enabled USB DEBUG

* Put tablet to landscape, set to landscape mode without "auto-rotate"

* Connected to PC, cmd then issued command: (must be where adb.exe located)

adb shell wm size 1080x1920

adb shell wm density 215        (smaller density /higher number/ = some panels are not displayed properly, higher than 380 = application won't start again)
