Roller Shutter 2 - 3 Wire - No Switch

amurray85

Question

Hey Guys,

I have a roller shutter with no physical switch. It is controlled via RF.

It has a 3 wire power input - Live - N - Earth

Is there any way to control this roller blind using the Roller Shutter 2 module?

@MTressl you need to check with that manufacturer of the blind motor if they have a interface for 3rd party intergration.

I actually used a fibaro relay to operate a zero volt contact set on a blind interface , so you loose the fibaro roller shutter position indication.

Just checking your motor is wirelessly controlled?

you just have L N  E?

No you won't be able to control this as the FGRM will need to be able to send signals on the up and down direction wires which your motor does not have

But you may be able to buy a interface from the blind motor manufacturer that you can control with roller shutter 2.

I have installed these before.

Can you hint us in the direction what you installed?

I am in a similar situation, where my GRIESSER motors only have 3 wires.
