The wall switch is not toggling the light ??

Hello I just start on fibaro and on a light switch I installed fibaro dimmer but on s1 I have set my push botton but it does not operate .... any idea why?

i know it must be a stupid question ...

Wellcome to the user powered help and Fibaro system.

 

NOTE: there are no stupid questions, there are just strange situations. - NEVER ever feel bad for asking for help when you do not know, feel bad only when you mock something up because you did not ask for anny help.

 

Now before i get to annything can i get details?

I. What unit and what firmware you are using (HCL / HC2 - you can read the firmware of your unit on the web interface just next to its name).

II. What kind of dimmer you have? there are few models circulating, each with slightly diffrent wiring diagrams - actually share the wiring diagram pelase.

III. Did the light (i pressume its dimable?) go throu calibration, is the light in accordance to parameters of your dimmer?

IV. if you can get to the dimmer can you flick light on just by pressing the button on dimemr itselve?

V. (revange of 3) Is the light source dimable, on / off, are you using correct way of controlling it, dose it not require Bypass (

Depending on these details i should have some idea what is going on there .) sorry its so manny questions but it is helpfull to identify as much as you can - as mentioned above there is few various devicess that are called Fibaro Dimmer. Pressuming you bought new one i liked manual to latest, but if yours is older model than we need to know.
