Multiple Dimmer 2 - Help Please

Edward557

Question

Hi, I'm helping a friend who wants to install:

7 x Dimmer 2

1 x RGBW Controller.

This is a for new room, all the wires will terminate at one point - I would be very grateful if anyone could answer the following questions:

  • Is it OK to fit all 8 controllers in a single enclosure? (I plan to carefully cable tie each controller to a wooden board), I'm concerned about interference between each controller.
  • All controllers will be for low wattage LED lamps, all will have both live and neutral connections - will I need the resistor for low wattage applications when connecting the neutral?
  • All controllers will have the same live / neutral supply - will this cause any problems?
  • I don't plan to connect a switch to any of the controllers - is this OK?
  • Will the Dimmer 2 & RGBW work with the Samsung Smartthings Hub OK?

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Edward
