Motion sensor parameters

Bodyart

Question

Hi ALL!

I'm trying to change parameters of the Fibaro motion sensor in order to use it with @Sankotronic VSL scene.

I'm trying to change folllowing parameters:

Parameter 2 from 2 to 15

Parameter 6 from 5 to 30

and

Parameter 40 from 200 to 40.

Whatever I try, after saving the changed parameter it remains with the old value.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi @Bodyart

Here is how to do it:

1) Change parameters

2) Press SAVE button

3) Bring motion sensor closer to the HC2

4) Open back cover on motion sensor

5) Press B button 3 times to wake it up

6) Eye will glow blue and wait till it turns off

7) Close back cover and put motion sensor back on place

8) Refresh page showing parameters and it should now display new values

  • Thank you very much @Sankotronic,

I did it exactly as you describe, but the sensor didn't become set, so I had to exclude it from the system by forced exclusion because the "normal" exclusion didn't work, then reset the device to factory settings, include it again. After this, it was possible at last to change the desired parameters.

B.T.W. In your VSL scene is the VDlightID the same as hueID in your HUE VD? Because I'm getting the debug line: Type of HUE VD light not defined.

VDlightID in VSL scene is ID of the HUE Virtual Device, not ID of the bulb! HUE VD ID you can see when you hover with mouse pointer above small wrench icon which opens VD for editing when clicked.
