FGD-212 doesn't dim low enough

Tiwas

Question

Hi,

Is it possible to set the lowest level to dim the FGD-212 to? It doesn't dim my LEDs very low. The module managed to initialize correctly and gave a green light, so I guess it's mostly ok. There's no flickering and no problem turning the lights off. Because of this I have not installed a bypass.

Thanks!

Hi Tiwas,

the Dimmer has a minimum Load. I guess your LEDs take less than that so it does not dimm them further down. I have the same Issue with my LED Light and..  it seems I have to just get used to it. I tried to mix the LEDs with a Halogen Bulb - as far as I understand the Manual this is not allowed! - it worked than quite well but on the lower DIM Levels it started flickering.

Regards.

Thanks, that's the way I figured as well, so if I'm not alone with that conception I take it it's not too far from being a sane conclusion :)
