How to get user id who start scene or press button on device in app? I would like to send message about result only for him/her and not for everyone ...

If I understand you correctly , you want a message sent just to the person (device) that activates a scene ?

The HC2 tracks how the scene was (manual, global change, properties, event) but not on which device it was activated from

I don't know of any way to achieve what you are looking for .. sorry

yes, it's what i'm looking for ...

 

for example for checking open/close doors - I'm currently using variable who is at home but sometimes i want to check it even when I'm away

Hi @petr23

 

You can solve that by making for each user one VD that only he/her can see on mobile device to activate scenes or any other action. This VD then can set some global variable so that HC knows who activated that scene or action. Main loop of VD can check if action is done and then reset that global variable.
