FGFS-101 ZW5 Flood Sensor - Wiring Options

Dontgetwet

Recommended Posts

Just purchased a couple of FGFS-101 sensors that i'm wanting to hardwire to 12V DC in order to take advantage of repeater functions.

When wiring this device up, how do you handle the power cable? (guess this applies to sensor cables as well)

Do you:

1. Leave the top cover off?

2. Drill a hole and pass cable(s) through the shell?

If you chose #2, did you drill through the removable top shell or elsewhere?

Thanks

Hi @Dontgetwet and welcome to the forum.

I would go with option #2 and drill hole through non-removeable part and place FGFS-001 on the wall and have water probe stick out of it.
