Delay in excution scene in Alarm Panel

Question

Posted

Hello,

The alarm panel seems to delay putting lights on or start a scene via the alarm panel, when there is a alarm detected. However the delay is set to 0 in the delay panel, it will take about 20 seconds to start the scene or put the lights on.

The problem is NOT the connection between the door sensor and the HC2 because the " alarm detected pop up" shows up immediately when the door is opened.

Someone with the same problem? (and I hope a proper solution!)

No such problem, I have a scene with lights/notifications/sirene/flashlight/phonecalls running, which runs with NO delay when the alarm is triggered (by means of door contacts and/or motion detectors)

Really strange this, because if I start the scene manually, I don't have any delay.

Do you have a disarm delay set in your device configuration?

    Hi @lboele

do you have a delay set on one or more of your motion detectors and/or door contacts.

I have one sensor (front door) configured with a 30 seconds delay, so that I can set the alarm, but still can leave the house, or reverse, can come in and switch off the alarm within 30 seconds. This means when I switch on the alarm, the HC2 starts counting to 30, which you can see on the screen.

But when the alarm is set, and a device is triggering the alarm, I have no delays with all alarm notifications triggered by the alarm scene (except of course when the alarm is triggered by the front door contact, which indeed gives a delay of 30 seconds),

    Hope this helps
