Add hue lights to alarm

Hi everyone,

 

I am a new user of home centre 2. 

 

I have set up an alarm, but is there a way to turn hue lights on when it is triggered?

 

I can't seem to find a way to do that. Any help would be great!

Can you give us some more details? Are you using Philips HUE plugin or you use virtual device to control HUE lights? Also how did you setup alarm, did you do that only in alarm panel or you make block or LUA scene?

im using the alarm panel, not a scene. 

 

And i I am using the hue plugin as opposed to virtual devices.

Check first what @Bodyart suggested and if that is not suitable for you then you will still need scene to do that when alarm is breached.

Also, is it possible to play an alarm sound through sonos when the alarm is breached

You need to select add device and then there open vfib file that will be then imported to HC2.

 

For Sonos applies same requirement as for HUE lamps, you need scene to play an alarm sound through Sonos.

Ok great, once installed, what do i do with the alarmred virtual device
