Hi @keviny86,

What light it is and what power it consumes when fully turned on? If it is something lower than 35W than i would use bypass.

  • They are LED, i have places with more then 35w and other places under 35w and they still flicker, but only when there are switched off.

If it's LED then you need bypass.

I recommend bypass to my customers for these lights:

I've tested a newer, driverless led and it will glow when off, no matter what power rating (5 or 30 or 50 or more). A bypass fixes this.

The dimmer is never 100% of like a relay. The small current makes the lamp glow or flicker.

Do we need a bypass for any kind of LED? I recently bought these bulbs (

) and they are making noise when the load is not at 100%. They advise to use as dimmer Finder 15.91. This dimmer is is working under the "leading edge" principle.

In the manual of the bypass, it is mentionned:

"Bypass 2 works only with Dimmer 2 in trailing edge mode. Do not connect the Bypass to the Dimmer operating in leading edge mode."

Do you think the bypass will fix my issue?

A bypass does not fix buzzing. You are using "dimmer 2", not "dimmer 1"?

Nice video. It's difficult for me to estimate the "absolute level of the hum". Am I correct that the hum "is about as loud as the clicking of the switch"? In that case... sounds really loud to me. I wonder how much of the sound is from the black enclosure, or if the enclosure amplifies the hum of the lamp. Anyway, doesn't sound all right, does it?

Can I get some extra info? Please calibrate it the dimmer again, by setting p13 = 1 (force auto-calibration of the load without Fibaro Bypass). Refresh the web page after 20 seconds.

Then please post the values of parameters 1,2,5,6,7,8,14,30,31,32,33,34 because they tell a lot about the configuration, load and calibration.

In the past, people have a few times silently ignored my request to post the values of these parameters. Let me explain *WHY* I would like to know them. You might think: "I didn't mess with those parameters (yet) - why should I respond to that question? Surely those parameters are all at their default values? Why waste time by telling the obvious?". Well... They are not at their "default"... You see... "calibration" means the dimmer tries to determine optimum values for some parameters, by pulsing/stepping its output (you can see that) and measuring the response of the load (so each time you change the load,  do a calibration!). Because you and I have a different loads on that dimmer, we end up with different parameters! And that's why I'd like to know what they are set at...
