Fibaro Keyfob - quick guide

morpheus75

Question

hi

just got hold of a keyfob and quite like it compared to the other remotes i have had in the past.

the problem i cam across is finding scene activation information so after digging around on different threads and sites got a working solution.

attached is the scene lua code and also a short video demo.....

enjoy....

Hi there, thank you. I think I may have worked out the issue - I do t have key fob 2 set as a trigger for the scenes, only key fob 1

could I Group both fobs? Or use an Or statement in the trigger?

still unsure why the alarm being triggered would mute the buttons though.

thanks

charlotte

tick all boxes for the alarm thing so that the scene always works.

also in your triggers add an 'OR' statement in there and add in the 2nd keyfob aswell so that either keyfob can activate the scene.

re disarm when alarm has activated it might be a better idea to actually name each device manually and disarm them rather than using the group method.

this could be the reason why you cannot arm/disarm with keyfob as the hc hasnt actually reset itself and still thinks its in an alarm state.

i have hc2 so i havent come across this on mine.

    give this a go.

    thanks

Hi there,  this is now working as needed but I had to create entirely separate scenes for KeyFob#2 as a trigger.

    Thank you!

  • Glad it's all working. Some useful info there for me. On hc2 we can have single scene and have 2 key fob triggers. So looks like hc lite needs separate scenes.

    Thanks
