Implementing Zipato RFID Keypad mini

Matthias Hochstrat

Question

How is it possible to implement a Zipato keypad mini into a HCL? After inserting batteries and closing backcover the device will not be recognized by the HCL. Tested two devices without success :-(

Hello, Matthias.

If you add Zipato keypad to Home Center you need to do like this:

1) Insert batteries and do not close cover

2) Put HClite to learning mode in security mode

3) Push down Zipati keypad tamper button (metal lever near batteries) and release it within 2-seconds.

Works for me. Attached screenshot how it is visible in Home Center.

I havent been able yet to work with it but I will take some time to investigate how it should behave in Fibaro gateway.

Hi,

I have been able to install the Zipato KeyPad and it works in combination with an alarm.

The problem is that it works exactly as a door lock... can be open or close. If you want to activate or deactivate the alarm in other ways, for example from the app then it remains in a wrong state.

Has someone solved this issue?

Hi,

has anyone solved the the issue to activate or deactivate in other ways?

I see that should exist SECURE and UNSECURE command but I am not sure that it is really working...

Hi all,

has anyone managed to get this mini rfid keypad work normally as an ARMED / DISARMED alarm keypad panel?

Has anyone managed to pair it with rfid tags in HC2?

I have 2pcs Zipato mini rfid keypads, but none of them recognise their own rfid tag included in the box.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers!
