FGS-223. Turn on associated device by double click

aivs

Question

I use momentary switch with FGS-223 (param 20 = 0).

I added device to FGS-223 second association group. When I double-press, FGS-223 sent to device level 99, it's ok, BUT FGS-223 also turn on!!!

Is it possible by 1 click to turn on FGS-223, by 2 clicks to turn on associated device ?

I have similar problem with FGS-223. 3 click triggers my scene but the light is switched off also. I'd like to trigger my scene without changing light status.

I reported it to fibaro support 1 year ago and got answer that it should work properly but they have to check it. And I'm still waiting for a response...

Hi,

Unfortunately, it's not possible with our Double Switch. Beside it's additional functionality, it is also a normal mechanical switch which is triggered every time you click the button.

The best device for such actions is

You can set there multiple clicks for different actions.

Pity, because old Dimmer can do it. Switch 2 is a newer module with less opportunities... :(

I used 3 click to switch off the light in my bedroom with 10 s. delay. For 10 s I could go to bed and lie down. It was may favourite scene. I had to change Dimmer do Switch, bacause Dimmer can't handle energy saving light bulbs (blinking).

Hi, can you please confirm that old Dimmer (Dimmer 1) can trigger double action scene without changing the state of the O1/O2 circuits?

I am also looking for solution. I would like to turn on the AirCon with double click and turn it off with tripple click. Its very annoying that the light changes state every time...

Change parameter 23 to 0 did the trick for me.

I have a momentary switch that runs the go to bed scene when double clicking, but the lightbulb connected to the switch went to max when double clicking it. Therefore I changed parameter 23 to 0 and the problem was fixed. One caveat. You cannot easily set the lightbulb to max level anymore.

I was on vacation, therefore I missed your message. I have a com.fibaro.FGD212 device, version 3.5.

Parameter 23 is also described in the manual at:

We have been talking about relay module.. NOT DIMMER my friend. There is no such parameter on relay switch. If I knew this limitation to relay switches I would skip them for dimmers only. Now, I regret.
